I started teaching in Canadian ISD eight years ago. During the 2014-2015 school year, I was the elementary special education teacher at Canadian Elementary School. The following school year I received the high school special education inclusion position at Canadian High School. I taught at CHS for six years. In the summer of 2021, the elementary school counselor position became available in CISD. I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to apply all that I have learned as an educator toward my position as the CISD Elementary School Counselor.
Prior to teaching in Canadian ISD,I taught in Northwest ISD for eight years. I taught Kindergarten for four years and elementary special education for one. I was then offered a position at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club. I was blessed to be the Science inclusion teacher and the lead over the content mastery room for three years.
