I began my career working in the Pediatric ICU at Scott and White Memorial Hosptial in Temple, Texas where I was staff nurse for 6 years.  I then moved to Amarilllo, Texas and worked at Northwest Texas Hospital as a STAT Nurse where I administered chemotherapy and provided conscious sedations for physicians during various procedures.  I was also PICC line certified and performed peritoneal dialysis on all inpatients. I then moved to Canadian, my home town, to raise my kids and worked one year at Hemphill County Hospital before taking the CISD School Nurse job here.  I have been at CISD since then and have loved being the school nurse!
